PreOrder / Pre-order = one buys a delivery slot from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the past has shown with Bitmain that PreOrder slots are often shipped with drastic delays. For example, the Antminer L7 from the October PreOrder 2021 was only shipped in February/March 2022. PreOrder also have no binding price commitment. In the meantime, if the cryptocurrencies skyrocket, a surcharge must be expected before delivery. We always recommend buying in stock in order to avoid this risk. The surcharge usually corresponds to the planned revenue per month x waiting time in months.
Kadena has taken an unprecedented run in 2021. Friday at 30 cents and the following Monday at over 20 euros… The revenues of all Kadena miners have multiplied exactly and an incredible sale of Kadena miners was initiated… Revenues of 15,000 – 20,000 euros per month per ASIC miner were not uncommon. As of today (25.08.2022) the revenue of the KD Max is around 800 euros per month and the coin is at 1.70 euros. We strongly believe that Kadena will be one of the first to escalate again as soon as the market has recovered.
